When a bride truly embraces the season, the wedding can become truly magical, and that’s exactly how we would describe Jensen’s Christmas themed wedding, magical. The colors and feel centered around white, silver and gold, with a subtle touch of red here and there, and various types of greenery including seasonal Christmas greens. It truly was a winter wonderland.
In addition to embracing our own standard holiday decorations, she added 3 additional decorated Christmas trees and a holiday garland to add an extra pop of extravagance to our wood burning fireplace, which served as the backdrop for their ceremony. She also asked for our rustic lanterns to be placed along the ceremony aisle and include a simple red rose mixed with evergreen branches. We added the wired greenery runners on either side to complete this rustic winter wedding look.
Her centerpiece request was something tall and dramatic. She chose our tall cylinder vases but wanted to incorporate something with a little more pop. So she brought us some spectacular vases of her own, and for a simple increase in cost (due to an increase in the floral amount needed), we happily obliged her in this request. Though simple floral was requested, the look was no less stunning. Vases overflowing with white hydrangea, ball cypress greens, seeded eucalyptus, dusty miller, and curly willow. They were placed on a gathered piece of organza fabric brought by the bride and our votive candle. Jensen really used the most of our included décor, and added just the right amount of her vision, to make her own unique look come to life.
Finally, I loved how her photographer captured the true size and scope of the ranch. We have often heard when people come to tour that the facility is actually much bigger than it looks. These photos really show the shape of the log cabin and some beautiful outside shots in the crisp clear December evening.
